Fantasia Adventure Holidays is a small and friendly company owned and operated since 1996 by ourselves Steve Almond and Caroline Harcombe. The driving force behind the horse riding holidays is Steve and Caroline, Simon Brown runs our photography holidays and Steve Daly runs our bird watching holidays. We are all involved in the hosting of the evening meals and are available to cater for the needs of our guests.

Steve Almond.

As a harassed computer engineer and horse owner in the UK, I decided that a life change was needed. I first moved to this beautiful and unspoilt part of Andalusia in December 1992 and I have been operating riding holidays here ever since. With the wealth of experience that I have gained over the years that I have lived here, I can offer holidays that provide not only challenging and exciting riding, but also a taste of the real Spain.

Caroline Harcombe

Caroline Harcombe, BHSAI.

On leaving school I completed my BHSAI exams and started working in the equine industry with disabled adults and children. Continuing my career with horses I worked in international showjumping, point to pointing and national hunt racing. After a twelve year break from the equine industry as a dispensing optician and horse owner, I moved here to join Fantasia del Caballo in 2001.

Stephen Daly.

Stephen was brought up in the rolling countryside of East Lothian near Edinburgh, and has been birding with his brothers since the age of eight. He has lived and worked in southern Germany and in Alsace, France. Stephen now lives and runs Andalucian Guides from within Las Breñas Natural Park on the Costa de la Luz which is midway between Gibraltar and the city of Cadiz.

In 1995, after six years in the marines, a business studies degree and a year assisting a professional photographer in Edinburgh, I moved to Andalusia with a Spanish girl. Since then I have been living here in Barbate. The Costa de la Luz inspired me to continue in photography and run my own business. Images for the tourist board, postcards and publicity have been my main activities. I am now looking forward to hosting this seasons forthcoming photo holidays.
