Fantastic Weekend of Horse Riding.
In this frantic world that we all live in there is a need to escape occasionally. Why not join us on one of our full board weekend breaks and escape to the unspoilt Costa de la Luz. During your weekend here you will enjoy superb horse riding and the wonderful Spanish climate. Our trails provide fantastic beach horse riding, and superb forest riding. Each day is unique and includes steady canters along sandy tracks and fantastic gallops along firebreaks. Beach riding day is unforgettable, a dream come true! Our horse riding weekend break provides superb off road horse back riding for guests that know how to ride.
Superb Horse Riding Adventure
Your holiday base for the weekend is the seaside town of Barbate. The town provides a fantastic setting for a riding holiday destination. As well as superb riding and a fantastic beach, Barbate also has a lovely promenade. With ice-cream parlours, bars and restaurants the promenade is ideal for relaxing on after riding. As well as all this Barbate has a great town centre with shopping, a lovely town square and a superb fish and fruit market. During your weekend with us you will experience the many delights that our horse riding offers and also be able to enjoy the adventure of living in a typical Spanish town.

Unbeatable Accommodation.
On our weekend break your accommodation is in the luxurious three star Adiafa Hotel. The hotel is excellent and is very well appointed. Located only 50 metres from the sea front the hotel is family run and is very friendly and welcoming. All the bedrooms are spacious twin bedded rooms with on-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. All the rooms that we use also have a large balcony and sea view. The hotel has internet connection by wi-fi or cable and some English language TV channels.
Friendly, Welcoming Groups.
Our full board vacations are ideal for both single people and for group bookings. Our groups are kept small so that our guests can bond together and create a great friendly atmosphere. You will meet like minded people and have made new friends by the end of the holiday. The rides are led by ourselves, Steve and Caroline, and the maximum group size is kept to nine. Our aim is to provide a value for money all inclusive horse riding vacation that is a dream come true. All your needs will be well taken care of by ourselves so that you can enjoy a stress free holiday.

Non Riders
Non riders are welcome and with plenty to do, the area is a good base for non riding vacations. The area also has a multitude of other sports available, such as mountain biking, canoeing, sea fishing, scuba diving, wind surfing and golf. The local public transport is good and car hire is also available locally. Information can be provided on local places of interest and there is also a tourist information office in the town.
Itinerary
Holidays run Friday to Monday.
Friday. Collection from Jerez or Gibraltar airports and transfer to Barbate. Dinner in the evening when the weekend break is discussed.
Saturday. Forest ride, with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sunday. Beach ride, with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Monday. Forest ride, with breakfast and lunch. Transfer to Jerez or Gibraltar after showering and changing. For those guests with flights to Manchester transfer will be at 09:00 to catch your morning departure.

Airport transfers from Malaga airport are not included for our short breaks. However car hire is very reasonably priced and the journey to Barbate is an easy drive.
Superb Riding
Day 1. Today's ride leads through the beautiful pine forest to the 17th century Mecca tower overlooking cape Trafalgar. This introductory ride allows you to get to know your horse, with the faster paces being introduced as your confidence grows.
Day 2. Today we head to the scene of the famous sea battle where Lord Nelson lost his life at Cape Trafalgar. We follow the coast to El Palmar spending most of the ride on the beach enjoying canters and gallops.
Day 3. Today's route takes us to the cliffs overlooking Barbate. The ride has superb views of Barbate, the surrounding mountains and on a clear day North Africa. The ride follows roller coasters of sand and allows plenty of opportunity to canter and gallop.

Special discount on summer departure dates. We currently still have availability for most summer and end of year departure dates, and are now offering these dates at a very competitive reduced rate.
No single person supplement. For the remainder of 2009 we are no longer charging a single person supplement making our holidays even more affordable for the solo traveller.

Non riders are charged riding rate with a 30% discount.
The Hotel Adiafa has three options, a single, double or triple room.
Prices are per person per weekend break based on two people sharing a twin bedded room and do not include flights.
For solo travellers there is no single room supplement, a single room will be allocated subject to availability.
For three guests sharing a three bedded room a triple room discount per person will be given.
Exchange rate used 1.18 euros to the pound, current at 17 June 2009.
Credit or debit card payments will be charged at the euro rate, therefore due to fluctuating exchange rates the pound sterling prices should be used for guidance only.
The sterling prices shown will only apply if payment is made from a UK account by bank transfer.
