Our trails provide fantastic horse riding on golden beaches and through unspoilt forests. Each day is unique and includes steady canters along sandy tracks and fantastic gallops along firebreaks. Superb Horse Riding Adventure
Your holiday base for the weekend is the seaside town of Barbate. The town provides a fantastic setting for a horse riding holiday destination. As well as superb riding and a fantastic beach, Barbate has a lovely promenade. With ice-cream parlours, bars and restaurants, the promenade is ideal for relaxing after riding. Barbate also has a great town centre with shopping, a lovely town square and a superb fish and fruit market. During your weekend with us you will experience the many delights that our horse riding offers and also be able to enjoy the adventure of living in a typical Spanish town.
Unbeatable Accommodation.
On our weekend break your accommodation is in the luxurious three star Adiafa Hotel. The hotel is excellent and is very well appointed. Located only 50 metres from the sea front the hotel is family run and is very friendly and welcoming. All the bedrooms are spacious twin bedded rooms with on-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. All the rooms that we use also have a large balcony and sea view. The hotel has internet connection by wi-fi or cable and some English language TV channels.
Friendly, Welcoming Groups.
Our full board horse riding vacations are ideal for both single and group bookings. The groups are kept small and create a great friendly atmosphere. You will meet like minded people and have new friends by the end of the holiday. The rides are led by ourselves, Steve and Caroline, and the maximum group size is kept to eight. Our aim is to provide a value for money all inclusive horse riding vacation that is a dream come true. All your needs will be well taken care of so that you can enjoy a stress free holiday.
Non Riders
Non riders are welcome and with plenty to do, the area is a good base for non riding vacations. The area has many sports available, such as mountain biking, sea fishing, wind surfing and golf. Public transport is good and car hire is available locally. Information can be provided on places of interest and there is a tourist information office in the town.

Superb Riding Itinerary
Wednesday. Collection from Malaga airport and transfer to Barbate. Dinner in the evening when the weekend break is discussed.
Thursday. Forest ride, with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Today's ride leads through the beautiful pine forest to the 17th century Mecca tower overlooking cape Trafalgar. This introductory ride allows you to get to know your horse, with the faster paces being introduced as your confidence grows.
Friday. Beach ride, with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Today we head to the scene of the famous sea battle where Lord Nelson lost his life at Cape Trafalgar. We follow the coast to El Palmar spending most of the ride on the beach enjoying canters and gallops.
Saturday. Forest ride, with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Today's route takes us to the cliffs overlooking Barbate. The ride has superb views of Barbate, the surrounding mountains and on a clear day North Africa. The ride follows roller coasters of sand and allows plenty of opportunity to canter and gallop
Sunday.Transfer to Malaga airport for your return flight.
Special UK Bank Holiday Breaks
For the UK bank holidays we are organising special packages to make the most of your time off work.
UK June Bank Holidays. The holiday starts on Thursday 31 May and finishes Tuesday 5 June. A six day holiday which includes four full day rides with special transfers between Barbate and Gibraltar airport. The cost of the break is £695.
UK August Bank Holiday. The holiday starts on Thursday 23 August and finishes Monday 27 August. A five day holiday which includes three full day rides with special transfers between Barbate and Malaga airport. The cost of the break is £615.
Flight Information
Flights to Malaga Airport.
Flights are available from most UK airports. Transfers from Malaga airport are included for our short breaks with collection no later than 14:30 on Wednesdays and return to Malaga arriving no earlier than 10:30 on Sundays.
Flights to Jerez and Gibraltar Airport.
Flights are available by Ryan Air, EasyJet, British Airways and Monarch flying from Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick, Liverpool, Luton and Manchester. Transfers from Gibraltar and Jerez airports are normally not included. Tailor made holidays can be organised for you using these airports. If this is of interest to you please contact us for a quote.
Solo Travellers
We do not charge a single room supplement. Solo travellers will be allocated a twin room without a balcony or sea view to themselves and will not have to share. Solo travellers may pay an optional supplement to upgrade to a twin room with balcony and sea view.
