Swimming on Barbate Beach

Your accommodation for the week is an important part of a horseback riding vacation. We offer a superb accommodation option for your holiday with us. You will stay in the luxurious 3 star hotel Adiafa located only 50 metres from the beach in the Atlantic seaside town of Barbate. The beach is a beautiful expanse of golden sand and runs for almost 2 km from the River Barbate to the Marina. It is overlooked by a wonderful promenade which has plenty of lively bars and restaurants in which you will be made more than welcome by the local people.
Hotel Adiafa
The luxurious Adiafa Hotel is excellent and very well appointed. Being small and family run the hotel is very friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is located only 50 metres from the sea front and all the bedrooms are spacious twin rooms. The rooms that we use have a balcony with full sea view and an on-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Air-conditioning, international digital TV and an internet connection by cable or wi-fi is also provided in the bedrooms. Single bookings on this option will always be allocated their own bedroom and dual bookings will share. There is also an option for a triple room.
As well as being located next to the beach the hotel is only a few minutes walk from Barbate's town centre. Here you will find all the facilities useful while on holiday, e.g. cash point machines, shops, etc. There is also a good bus and taxi service from Barbate if you wish to explore the area during your non riding time.

Summer Family Holidays.
During the months of July and August we can organise an economical holiday for a horsy family. For these family holidays we can arrange accommodation in apartments that provide a superb base for a relaxing holiday. The apartments are very comfortable and are located on the sea front of Barbate. They have the use of a swimming pool as well as direct access to the beach. Each apartment contains one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with automatic washing machine, lounge and bathroom with bath and/or shower.

Delicious Food and Drink.
The vacations would not be complete without good food and drink. A continental Breakfast is provided in the hotel's cafeteria. Relaxed Lunches are eaten after the ride in traditional 'tapas' bars. Dinners are taken at a variety of quality restaurants within Barbate. All meals are typical ‘Andaluz’ with superb meat and fish dishes being served. Vegetarians can be catered for. The meals are accompanied by good Spanish wines, beers or soft drinks.
The towns facilities.
Barbate is a medium sized town with a busy fishing port and a population of 22,000. For souvenir hunting the main shopping centre is only a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The town has good although basic shopping facilities. Many shops accept credit or debit cards and there are a number of banks that have cash dispensers. There is a small museum in the town that depicts Barbate's history. Barbate also has a lovely town square that has the town hall and the church at either side.
